Active Women: Sport England grants programme Nov 2009 - Feb 2010
Sport England’s themed rounds of National Lottery funding tackle gaps in sporting participation. The current themed round is 'Active Women' with a fund of £10 million available. The two target groups are (1) Women in disadvantaged communities (the 20% most deprived lower super output areas in the country); and (2) Women caring for children under 16.
From 11 November 2009, Sport England will welcome online initial applications from organisations looking to receive funding from the Active Women Themed Round. This first stage of applications will close at 5pm on 3 February 2010.
