- Every logged on (registered) user of the site can contribute resources that may be of interest to other site users... Register here
- Please choose the type of resource you want to submit in the 'Add...'-Menu on the menu bar and follow the 'wizard'.
- If you find it difficult to fill in the 'wizard'-fields the Data Dictionary can help with definitions for the terms used.
- Please try to enter as much metadata as accurately as possible. However, if you don't feel confident, don't worry: In the approval process we check new submissions and you as the submitter can edit the resource later as well.
- Submitted resources are not visible instantainously. After a short delay of a few minutes (database update) not yet approved resources become visible to the submitter and administrators. The set target audience has access to the resource after a manual approval process, carried out by erpho staff. We try to approve new resources within a working day.
- If you try to locate your newly submitted resource or if you want to check on a change you made on your resource and they seem not to be there please mind your cache settings (Menubar: Preferences > Search Preferences): For quicker response resource details and search results get cached by default and would not update within one session. You can change this by unticking the boxes in 'Search preferences'.
- There is a size limit of 5 MB on resources. Larger files take too long for up- and downloading and we recommend to break up such a resource into smaller units.
- Depending on file size and your internet connection submission can take between seconds and approx. half an hour. (NOTE: Upload speed is usually much slower than download speed!) But if the wizard hasn't closed after this time the process might have failed. Please contact us if you are not sure if the submission was successful.
