LAs, PCT clusters and commissioning groups in the East of England
There are currently 7 PCT clusters (formed from the former 13 PCTs) in the East of England, whose boundaries match top-tier local authority boundaries in many instances (see table). PCT/ LA products Clinical commissioning groups in some cases cover roughly equivalent populations to PCT clusters (although GP practices and commissioning groups serve registered populations, while PCTs and local authorities serve resident populations).
